The textbook on Gynecologic Oncology is addressed to specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology, oncologic surgeons, gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, general practitioners and medical students.
The book is structured in 21 chapters, including epidemiology, biology and genetics, tumor markers, viruses and genital cancers, principles of chemotherapy, principles of radiation therapy, pathology, imaging.
The other chapters are dedicated to all gynecologic cancers as follows: cancer of the vulva, cancer of the vagina, precursors of the cancer of the uterine cervix, cancer of the uterine cervix, endometrial cancer, ovarian epithelial cancer, non-epithelial ovarian cancer, cancer of the fallopian tube, gestational trophoblastic disease.
